Good Light Overall

Good Light Overall
I use one red in back and one white in front for day/evening commuting as an added set of lights.
Really like the linear light shape as it straps vertically to back of seat stem, and horizontally on handlebars close to the tubes and out of the way.
I charge the lights after every commute. Now on my second pair I can attest that after several years use the mini usb plug receiver can get bent out of shape, not charge, and stop functioning. A shame as the battery is probably still capable of performing. The plug is the weak link, so be gentle when plugging/unplugging.
The light itself could be a bit brighter. It's lumen output isn't quite as robust as recent competitors. But is still adequate enough as an identifying light to alert automobiles and pedestrians.

Good light, mine is faulty

It's a good light, I've owned multiple, just bought a new one and it stopped charging after about 3 charges.

Love the light while it worked....

This light is great as long as the unit will charge. I have owned the light for about two years now. began experiencing issues recharging the unit about 1 year ago. I was always able to get it to charge, except the last tie I tried the female unit in the housing broke free and is rattling around inside the unit. I have reached out to the company twice now and have not received a response. My question is this: Is there a way to open the housing so I can reaffix the female charging port in the correct place. I would like to continue to use it, but I don't want to break the unit while I am trying to fix it.

I had thought about purchasing another unit, BUT am not sure I want to go through the same experience again. I am very disappointed in the customer service at this point as well.

Makes me wonder why the only reviews listed are 5 star, and why there are only three questions listed.

Great!

This light was a fantastic purchase. It's well made and extremely bright for daytime use. Can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Easy to use.

Stay safe, use this light!

There's no margin for error when it comes to cycling and safety. I've been riding for nearly 50 years and have numerous close calls on the roads, but that danger has increased significantly since cellphones came of age.
That's why I purchased this safety light for my riding. I ride about 150 miles a week mostly in the country to avoid traffic, but even there I've had my close calls. Ahem, two inches of clearance from your side mirror is not ample thank you very much.
The beauty of this light is it's ease of operation, if I fail to start it I can reach back under my seat and voila, she's burning bright. The three brightness levels and flashing modes give me the option to annoy, really annoy or shout "hey I'm right in front of you"! Seriously though, it's visible from a considerable distance and bright enough to catch anyone's attention that happens to be paying attention to their driving. Battery life is always a challenge to reduce weight and size, but this has proven to hold up for at least three rides, approx. 6 hours. I tend to charge it after two significantly long rides just for the peace of mind the next time I ride.
I know there are numerous brands out there, most are over priced or cheap, but this is a solid light that is still doing its job a year later.
Stay safe and hold your line!
